Good point Kaidie, I think the Museum of London is stepping in. They are currently analysing etc, and there is talk of a book and a 'discover' project, but from what I can see on the ODA (a broken link) & MOL websites (focus on older though still interesting stuff ) it is still all at the theoretical stage. At least they are starting off in the right direction though, be a great shame to loose the past...just check out this old cobbled street which was located at the point where our fancy new bikes will now fly past!

This is amazing! A world found (in our world) - are they preserving or marking this area out in any way, or are they simply building things over it (as if the previous layer[s] do not matter)?... And the objects as well. They are all part of the area's 'legacy'.
